A circle depicts wholeness, oneness, never-ending cycles of life, the eternal constant, cycle of change, unity, perfection, inclusive.

A triangle is a platonic solid, which is considered as the sacred geometry ‘building block’ of the Universe in ancient Greek text. Triangle symbolizes balance, harmony, completion. Rising upwards, it elevates us to higher consciousness.

SPACE & TIME

Where are we? Questions about directionality, distance, and emptiness we call space. Does anybody really know what time it is? Time measures change. Philosophers thought space and time were separate entities, we attempt to explore spacetime in multiple dimensions.

Sacred geometry is omnipresent in all life forms. From DNA which is the blueprint of life to the to the bee hives, peacock feather to the galaxies, we are bound by geometric sequence in incredible ways.

Shanti Bridal 2022

Transcending into the evergreen heritage of the Indian culture, the unveiling of ‘Shanti Bridal 2022’ brings forth a fragrant whiff of the festivities of our classic heritage.

Inspired by miniature paintings from different schools of art in the region, our patterns draw from an art form that celebrates intricate detail. The techniques used to make this collection bring those intricate details to life. Traditional art like ‘pitta work’ and ‘dabka’ are used to create motifs. Every design, from human features to animal form, comes alive in our dedication to detail seen in the beautiful resham-dabka work across the collection.

Samay- Timelessness

Shanti Banaras believes in reviving the best of its heritage while making sure it reaches the next generation. Through the storytelling of Samay, each element used for building the campaign holds a unique value and a belief in honouring traditional craft practices.

We say time is moving fast but it stands still, into the moment, when that keepsake brings alive the memories of perpetuity and beyond. Each Real Zari saree narrating the timeless tale of generations, and the beauty of golden experiences.

Akathya

“The Akathya campaign idea came through my mother in law who works very closely for the empowerment of the transgender community. It was her thought to uplift them and our motto of ‘Shanti for Everyone’ that brought forward this campaign.

Our idea is to bring forward a sense of confidence in oneself and be proud for what we are. It’s to bring transparency in society where we are not judged by our birth or status or colour but for the innate talent we possess. It is a call for participation campaign, an opportunity for both us and the transgender community to jointly work on this endeavour for a fresh look.

The sarees that we selected for this campaign are a projection of boldness and strength. They are very strong vertical lines which portray a sense of being present and cannot be missed by the world. It is an antonym to subtlety and being hidden under the shadow of any design. The colours support our intent in being loud and clear. We also tried to level our colours very near to the multi colour flag of the LGBT community. For this part of the campaign we have only used silk fabrics to give it the glaze and shimmer which the thought requires.”, says Amrit Shah, CEO Shanti Banaras.
