This is an exhibit by Pranoy Sarkar that examines the cultural intricacies of Banaras and Bombay through a collection of photographs of various objects. The demonstrated objects are a metaphor for the layered and complex definitions of Banaras and Bombay today. Each object manifests as a site for centuries-old rituals and an expression of identity while showcasing layers of cultural meanings.
